Emirates Loto
The Emirates Loto is open to all participants aged 18 and over from around the World. Players can win up to AED 35,000,000 as the jackpot
Players must pick 6 numbers between 1 and 49 and the winning numbers are drawn from a mechanical machine that mixes the ball sets randomly. Emirates Loto draws take place every Saturday at 19:30 hours Gulf Standard Time and are overseen by by a Draw Manager, an Insurance Representative and an Abu Dhabi or Dubai Government Representative. The televised draws are presented by celebrities Aishwarya Ajit and Wissam Breidy.
How to play Emirates Loto
This is where it gets a little complicated and different from most lottery draws around the World. The mechanism has been designed to fit in with Islamic Fatwa and Sharia principles
In summary you buy a collectible, either in a store around the UAE or online, which then entitles you to make an entry into the draw:
- Buy your collectable for AED 35 from one of the 10,000 stores, online or via their App
- Go to the Emirates Loto website and create an account or log in to your existing account
- If you bought your collectable in a store, scratch off the panel on the back and enter the 16-digit code or scan the code with the App
- If you bought online, your collectable will already be in your account
- Each collectable entitles you to select 6 numbers for the draw that you choose. You do not have to submit the entry into the next draw, but can wait up to 90 days.
- Note: collectables purchased online can be donated to a charity or physically delivered to you (for a fee)

There are four prize levels in The Emirates Loto as per the following table

Prizes need to be claimed within 9months (275 days) of the winning Loto date
If you live outside of the UAE, you will need to travel to the emirates to collect Match 6 and Match 5 prizes and provide proof of identity. Match 4 prizes will be paid into your bank account or to a money exchange near where you live. Free entries will be automatically added to your online account
